The premise for this webcomic is simple: Comedy writer James Breakwell takes his children's innocent art and makes up horribly inappropriate stories to go with it.
Sometimes James has no idea what the pictures are supposed to be. Other times, he knows exactly what they are but pretends he doesn't because he's a jerk. Either way, the end result is a three-panel story arc that takes his children's good and wholesome intentions and utterly destroys them. That's how the Internet works.
The webcomic serves a secondary purpose of preserving his children's drawings for posterity. Before
Unfridgeworthy, the Breakwell home was overflowing with sketches destined for the recycling bin. Now, each and every image is saved forever on the Internet for subsequent generations to enjoy. The entire Breakwell family owes an apology to the future.
